Yesterday i learned a new word.
It was used on an e-mail forum i am a memeber of, by the editor of Third Way Magazine. The word is...

"Dilettante"

so what was a Dilettante?

I actually went out and looked up the dictionary.com website to find out.

And I am one.

Today though, I heard the word used on the radio. since then, I have had the smug self satisfaction of knowing a new word, and when hearing it in conversation I knew what they were on about.

Life long learning, it's great!
(If only I could learn speelling or grammer or basic usage of english in the same way this blog would be unmissable!)
