yeah, i think i often forget some of the reality of christmas, mary and josephs predicament. Aparently their is an exhibiution exporing the 12 myths of christmas. I wonder how we ever lost reality and became comfortable with myths and easy to understand half truths. Like the kings, they turned up when jesus was between 1and 2 years old. probably not still in a stable and most unlikely to have turned up on christmas day. The story isn't easy or nice. perhaps i should remeber that more.
